While tourists flock to Las Vegas for the gambling and the many options in world class food and drink venues, catching a show is still high on the to-do list. Back when Vegas was home to the Rat Pack, Vegas showgirls were what packed in tourists to all the major casinos. There was a time when Vegas started getting a little cheesy, with artists like Tom Jones donning the stage, but new and invigorating shows have started infusing a youthful take on the Las Vegas we all know and love.
Many of these shows have become hugely successful, and have opened the door to new acts trying to make their way onto the Vegas stage. It’s not just musical artists that have started to flock to Vegas to take up residency, since many other celebrities have started to see the appeal of making stage money without ever having to go on tour.
One celebrity making the most out of his 15 minutes of fame is Channing Tatum. From the success of his Magic Mike film series, he recently announced a full production Las Vegas- style show based off his own experiences as a male stripper. The show is entitled, “Magic Mike XXL Male Revue” and is slated to come to Vegas in March 2017.
Proving that Las Vegas is the perfect place for a steamy show, there have been a number of successful stage performances that have pushed the envelope when it comes to what it means to be provocative. Check out our list of the 10 sexiest shows in Vegas, and see which ones know how to exude the most sex appeal.
10. Sin City Comedy & Burlesque
Inside the Sin City Theater at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, Sin City Comedy & Burlesque is what happens when you mix a clown with a stripper. A rotating cast of hilarious and recognizable comedians perform stand up, with many of them already made famous by having been showcased on such shows as Conan and The Late Late Show. To keep things interested while changing comedians, there is a scintillating burlesque show that embodies what Vegas is all about. Whether you’re there for the laughs and happily surprised by the girls or just there to catch a show that combines the best of both worlds, Sin City Comedy & Burlesque is a unique Vegas show that is definitely worth checking out.
9. Absinthe
Located in Caesars Palace, Absinthe is a show that epitomizes all that Vegas stands for. Whether you’re looking for comedy, feats of strength, balancing acts, or flexibility worthy of a freak show, Absinthe has everything you’re looking for. Especially for those that are in search of a show on the sexier side without having to visit a full-on stripper revue, Absinthe features a burlesque-style striptease that has a Moulin Rouge twist. Giving a nod towards old Vegas, this show is strictly for adults, from the humor to the Vegas showgirls. Sexy without a nude overkill, Absinthe is steamy enough to be considered provocative without feeling too embarrassed to buy the tickets.
8. X Rocks
Located in The Rio, X Rocks is brought to you by the same producers that created the famed X Burlesque show. Combining the most popular rock ‘n roll classics with intense sex appeal, this is a topless revue with a burlesque style. Unlike other topless shows that focus more on just baring as much skin as possible, X Rocks features women that are all professional dancers. The dance routines are both entertaining and titillating, and perfect for those that aren’t keen on the same old feather boa and showgirl’s hat. Leather, chains, and fishnet stockings are a must at X Rocks, and the dancers aren’t afraid to show their dirty side.
7. Jubilee
Bally’s Hotel and Casino is a historic venue on the famous Las Vegas strip, and hosts one of the longest running revues: Jubilee. Telling the story of the Titanic with a topless twist, the show embodies the classic theme of Vegas showgirls, complete with over-the-top headdresses. This adult show features topless girls all dancing in sync, and the production is just as elaborate as any acrobatic show you might hope to see on the strip. Perfect for those that want to marvel in the female form without missing out on all the glitz and glamour of Vegas, Jubilee is the show you can’t miss.
6. 53X
The 53X show is at Chateau Nightclub at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. The show was created by the producers that brought the famed Chippendales show, and is hosted by Shangela from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Starring both male and female dancers, this is an ultra steamy show that allows a voyeuristic style of viewing. Rather than feeling like you’re just watching a choreographed show, the audience is meant to feel like they’re gaining a sneak peek into something far more torrid. Perfect for couples that are looking for a sexy show to watch together, 53X exudes sex appeal.
5. Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity”
As the largest theatrical producer in the world, Cirque du Soleil knows how to put on a show. Thought of as a contemporary circus, you won’t see any dancing bears at this show. Instead, the performers are everything you love in street performers and acrobats all-in-one. Never to remain stagnant in their concept, they revealed a twist on their regular theme by introducing Zumanity. The show delves into the raunchy side of sexuality, and has even guest starred some celebrities. Nene Leakes guest starred as the “Mistress of Sensuality,” where she invited the audience to release their best moans of ecstasy while the stage performers were locked in positions of passion. The show was actually featured on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and created gasps of disbelief at how sexual the stage performance was.
4. Crazy Girls
The Crazy Girls show is relatively new to Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino, but it is by no means a novice show. Previously at the Riviera, the show had huge success even though it wasn’t enough to save the Riv from closing its doors. Moving to Planet Hollywood, the show continues to entertain, and even boasts a number of celebrities that have filled the audience seats. Numerous dance routines embolden the show, ranging from topless pole dancing to classic burlesque style dance moves. The performance has a wide range that caters to all tastes, and promises a super sexy and sultry stage show.
3. PIN UP
Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas is one of the tallest structures in the United States, and boasts incredible views of the Vegas skyline. The PIN UP show is a nod to the Old Hollywood glamour of the World War II-era. From the bandstand music to the look that resembles what we now call retro chic, this is a show that does more than stimulate through sounds. Playboy’s 2011 Playmate of the Year, Claire Sinclair, headlines the show and performs a striptease that proves she earned her Playboy title. The show has been recently revamped to include more skin and less clothing, so fans will definitely get an eyeful of this Playboy darling.
2. Fantasy
Located at the Atrium Showroom in the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Fantasy is aptly named due to the erotic costumes and over-the-top performances. There are 14 different dance numbers that are performed throughout the show, with each having its own theme. With everything from cowgirls to Latin dancers, this is a show that will be sure to fulfill any man’s fantasy. If the burlesque-style striptease isn’t steamy enough, the girls-only ménage a trois will be sure to fog up your glasses. Going from fully-clothed to completely nude, “Fantasy” is a show that is definitely at the top of the list for those looking for something super sexy on stage.
1. X Burlesque
Located inside the X Showroom at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, X Burlesque has been hugely successful for more than a decade. Unlike other burlesque shows, this is a show that thrives off of audience interaction. This 75-minute show runs back-to-back dance routines, with songs that really get you in the mood to be entertained. Striptease performances to the sounds of Michael Buble’s “Fever,” and a stage full of props like bathtubs and giant champagne glasses are the norm. X Burlesque puts all the other strip shows in Vegas to shame. For those looking for a topless revue that is just a hair away from being a full-on strip club, this is as sexy as they come.
