The 13 Worst Celebrity Wardrobe Malfunctions At Public Events

We all know that there are many things that can go wrong in a live broadcast. Be it TV awards shows, or concerts or even the new live musicals. Things can go very wrong. Sometimes people cuss on TV and get fined.

Never forget we were introduced to a different, twerking version of Miley Cyrus on TV. She was wearing a ridiculous, ugly rubber (or latex? I don’t know.) outfit. She was holding a big foam finger on one hand and the microphone in the other. She was grinding on Robin Thicke and singing the ridiculously sexist song, “Blurred Lines.”

Things go wrong in public for stars all the time. We had the big publicity stunt of Kanye West ruining Taylor Swift’s Grammy acceptance. For those of you that might have been under a rock, Taylor Swift was accepting an award and giving her speech when Kanye West ran up on stage and interrupted. “Imma let you finish, but Beyonce had the best video of all time.” People said he was drunk…obviously. Sober people don’t do that.

Today, I have a different list for you, where celebs have had an “accident” in public. These are the top 13 female wardrobe malfunctions on live TV, on the Red Carpet or at concerts. These are accidental slippages of clothing that revealed any of the ladies’ private parts. Here are the best accidental wardrobe malfunctions.

13. Kelly Brook On The Red Carpet

This English model/actress got caught on the red carpet showing off her undies. She was wearing a beautiful burgundy dress, but unfortunately, the dress had a high front slit, and it shifted while she was walking down the red carpet. At least her undies were not see-through. Although, I’m sure the press would’ve been all over that! Kelly Brook is a 37-year-old English actress. She has been in movies such as Piranha 3D, The Italian Job, and others. She has been modeling since she was sixteen, but she didn’t get into acting until the early 2000s.

12. Madonna Pulls Down Teenage Fan’s Top

Madonna has gotten a little out of control lately. Fans have reported that she shows up VERY late to concerts and is drinking on stage. She keeps whining about the custody battle she is having with her ex-husband about their teenage son, Rocco. She was even seen riding a small tricycle on stage and then falling off it. But things got really out of hand when she pulled down a fan’s top on stage. Madonna was performing in Australia, and she brought a fan up on stage. The seventeen-year-old model and fan had her top yanked down by the drunken singer. Luckily, the girl is a fan and she didn’t press charges.

11. Victoria Beckham – Wet Spot On Pants

Victoria Beckham had a sort of an embarrassing incident after leaving a party one night. It is not exactly a wardrobe malfunction; it is more like a “I should have changed my pants moment.” She probably just spilled a drink on herself, but why didn’t she change pants. The paparazzi is always lurking around her, she should be prepared. This is not the most exciting one in the bunch, but still sort of a malfunction.

10. Nicky Hilton Showing The Booty

Nicky Hilton, little sister of Paris, had her own wardrobe malfunction. She can be seen here wearing a dress with see-through stripes in all of the wrong places. News flash, if you wear anything see-through, wear underwear! Nicky is the heir to the Hilton fortune, along with her sister Paris. She is nicknamed after her grand-uncle Conrad “Nicky” Hilton, former husband of Elizabeth Taylor. She is a fashion designer and a model, but she is often overshadowed by her sister.

9. Chrissy Teigen – White House Correspondents Dinner

Model Chrissy Teigen is usually the portrait of glamour. She failed miserably in this dress choice which was cut way above the thigh at the hip. She started out as an IGN Babe and as a substitute model on Deal or No Deal. She is married to John Legend and had a baby with him recently. She also co-hosts the show Lip Sync Battle. Hopefully, she will make better wardrobe choices from now on. She is beautiful, but we don’t need to see her lady bits. At this angle, it’s hard to tell if that area is completely covered in that dress.

8. Emma Stone Slit Too High

Emma Stone was one of the best dressed at the Oscars, but every celeb is bound to have a wardrobe malfunction every now and then. She showed way too much leg (and some crotch) in this gorgeous yellow dress. Some paparazzi must have caught her as she was finding out about this problem. She looks thoroughly embarrassed.  The Amazing Spider Man star is still one of our favorites. She was also great in The Help, and I will always love her performance in Easy A. Stone also participated in an epic lip sync battle on the Jimmy Fallon show. Look it up on YouTube, it is amazing.

7. Emma Watson Showing All Of Her Underwear

Here we have Emma Watson at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This interesting gray dress had a slit in the middle of the skirt that went all the way up to her waist. Pick a dress that doesn’t have such a high slit, Emma! It looks like she may have ripped it; it is hard to tell if this slit was intended. This dress really doesn’t cover much. It is cut way down on her chest as well.

6. Gerri Halliwell Revealing The Booty

And here we have another former Spice Girl, Gerri Halliwell, wearing an ugly chiffon dress to the 2008 BAFTA Awards. Not only is it almost tutu-like with the layers of chiffon, but it is see-through on her butt. Also, she wasn’t wearing underwear. So her somewhat naked booty is now captured on film forever. She is most known for being a part of the Spice Girls, but she left the group in 1998 because she was struggling with depression.

5. Lady Gaga Falls Out Of Her Dress

Here we have Lady Gaga at the CFDA Awards in 2011. She fell out of her dress, obviously, and just a bit more than you’re seeing here… Knowing Lady Gaga, this could have been planned. I mean, this is the same lady that wore a dress made of meat! She has become a superstar over the last few years. She is not only a singer, but she is also a fashion designer, actress, songwriter, and philanthropist. She has been very involved in the fight for LGBT rights. She attended the Tisch School of the Arts in New York, but she left to pursue her music career.

4. Nicki Minaj Popping Out Of Her Dress

Nicki Minaj got caught on a Good Morning America concert with a bra that was obviously in bad shape. The low cut bra did not have enough fabric at the front, so her breast popped out there while she was dancing, right after this pic was taken. It’s not the first time she’s had a wardrobe malfunction. Remember the 2014 VMAs? She had to hold her dress together as her boobs were about to pop out. The “Anaconda” singer is known for wearing flashy, brightly-colored outfits. She also is usually covered in jewelry and wearing brightly colored wigs. She was very popular when she first came out, but her popularity has fallen. Minaj is very flashy, but she’s not the best singer. So she also relies on brightly colored, crazy video settings.

3. Tara Reid’s Boob Slip

Here we have a classic wardrobe malfunction. This was at P Diddy’s 35th birthday party in 2004. The B-movie actress Tara Reid had a boob pop out during the celebration. She does not have that great of a career. I mean she was in the Sharknado movies so we know how well she’s doing. She was also in some of the Scary Movies. She was in American Pie as well. That one, at least, is a classic. She started out as a contestant on the game show Child’s Play. 

2. Jennifer Lawrence’s Hunger Games Premiere

Here we have Jennifer Lawrence covering up her accidental nip-slip at the Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part Two premiere in Berlin. We have a classic Jennifer facial expression to go with it. Lawrence is still awesome. She definitely deserved that Oscar for The Silver Linings Playbook. She has also been in other hits such as American Hustle, and more recently in Joy. She also plays Mystique in the new prequel X-Men movies. Hopefully, she lands some more great roles and does not have any more nip slips.

1. A Royal Wardrobe Malfunction

Kate Middleton may be a princess, but she is not immune to the occasional wardrobe malfunction. She went on a recent trip to India,  and participated in a ceremony to lay a wreath on the grave of the Unknown Soldier in India. As she bent down to lay the wreath on the tomb, her white dress blew up in a way that’s similar to Marilyn Monroe in the Seven Year Itch. She may be royalty, but she is still human. We all have wardrobe malfunctions, sometimes.
