Why can’t celebrities just accept themselves for how they look, as opposed to showcasing a superficial side of themselves, knowing very well that they don’t look that way in real life. Many stars tend to forget that photoshopping images and posting them on social media accounts isn’t going to fool fans for too long, because once they spot you out and about and see what you really look like, it’s going to make headlines and they will be left embarrassed. From those who notoriously make their butts look bigger to those who airbrush their weight down to a slimmer size, these celebrities have all been caught editing their photos on social media — to the point where they look nothing like it in real life. 10. Mariah Carey — Airbrushing Body Figure

Mariah Carey certainly isn’t a fan of ageing, hence why she has everything altered before it gets published. The singer was surrounded by controversy after having airbrushed her 2014 album cover for Me. I Am Mariah: The Elusive Chanteuse is a serial offender when it comes to Photoshop on Instagram. While it’s obvious that Mariah has gained a few pounds, one of her team members airbrushes her down to look much slimmer than she really is, which is sad because she looks great with her actual weight. It’s not a good look to Photoshop yourself down like that.

9. Khloe Kardashian — Slim Figure

When is Khloe Kardashian not airbrushing another one of her Instagram photos? The reality star has consistently been called out for altering photos that she has uploaded on the social networking site, particularly her stomach, which tends to look much slimmer on Instagram than when photographers catch her off guard. There’s no denying that Khloe has been hitting the gym hard for the past year or so, but to slim down your stomach for the sake of likes on Instagram is not the way forward, Khloe. You shouldn’t post it at all if it bothers you that much.

8. Amber Rose — Waist

Amber Rose is notoriously known for having tried to follow in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian. From the Brazilian butt lift to having dated the same rapper, and now, Amber is also planning to launch her own clothing line just like the Kardashians. I say all of that to further add that Amber is another one of the celebrities who cannot keep their fingers away from altering their photos, forgetting that when they step outside and the real photos emerge, it’s going to be embarrassing. Amber is known to alter the size of her waist, which is much wider in person.

Many would argue that Beyonce is one of the most beautiful women in the world — what could she possibly want to change about herself? Well, the singer is obsessed with thigh gaps, and we know this because she photoshops it in all of her bikini photos. If you naturally don’t have one, you have to be quite sad to take a photo, go on a computer to edit it, and then publish it later. Bey has photoshopped endless photos to prove to the world she has a thigh gap, but then when you catch her live, the gap mysteriously disappears. Hmm.

Blac Chyna, who happens to be a former stripper, is still trying to come up in Hollywood. One thing that she has caught up on is how to edit her pictures in ways where she looks completely different than to what she really looks like. The aspiring businesswoman loves posting photos of her butt on her official Instagram account, and while her bottom is relatively large in real life, she edits it so that it looks even bigger in photos. Just plain ridiculous.

Britney Spears may have low self-esteem because she’s another celebrity who loves to edit her photos on Twitter and Instagram. While Britney is known to not care about people’s opinions and what they may say about her, somebody in her team is photoshopping the living daylight out of her personal photos on her social media accounts, which make her look very young and very unbelievable looking. We know this because when we see her in actual paparazzi photos, she doesn’t look the same at all. Something is clearly not adding up here.

She usually finds photos of herself online and then edits them to smoothen out her wrinkles and anything that could make her look her real age — which is heading close to 60 years old!

Lil Kim has made headlines over her plastic surgery addiction for years, but it’s so sad when she then goes on Instagram and edits her photos so much that she resembles a Barbie doll. The rapper, most known for her wildly popular hits from the ‘90s, has been hooked on cosmetic surgery for over a decade now, and while her looks have drastically changed in real life, she honestly resembles a Barbie doll on edited photos she publishes online. Fans have noticed that Kim also lightens her skin through several iPhone apps in the hopes of sporting a lighter color. This is sad on so many levels.

Oh, Lindsay Lohan. While her acting career may have ended ten years ago, Lohan is still clinging on to relevancy by fooling the world to believe that she still looks 20 years old. Sadly, that’s not the case because we have seen photos of Lindsay looking really disheveled, sporting yellow, cracked teeth, and looking anything but toned. But her social media photos show a completely different Lindsay; one that supposedly has flawless skin, looks likes she could be 18 again and has enough money to purchase endless designer clothes. What is the last movie Lindsay was in again? How is she affording these clothes? Or are they photoshopped on her body too?

Showing clear signs that she is very much inspired her sister, Kim Kardashian, Kylie has somewhat taken the lead from the 34-year-old, who is being overshadowed by her sister’s huge following on the social media platform. It’s just too bad that when you photoshop something in a photo, it’s not actually real, and people will catch on to that when they see you in person.
