It always annoys me when people hate on Kim Kardashian for having three marriages. Sure, that’s more than most people, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Personally, I think that is a lot better than staying in a marriage with someone when you’re over it. And that is why I love how Kim Kardashian has no shame in her game when it comes to marriage and dating. She has kissed a lot of frogs before she found her prince charming and I do not think there is anything wrong with that. But she is definitely the kind of person who is not going to acknowledge anyone she has previously dated. She is all about her current (and hopefully permanent) relationship with Kanye West.
I totally don’t blame her since he worships the ground she walks on—Kanye only follows Kim Kardashian on Twitter. He’s also the father of her two super cute kids North and Saint West. And even with all the external drama and controversy, this seems like a pretty solid relationship. Nevertheless, this is not the only romantic relationship she has ever been in.
Sure, the word “dated” can be pretty vague and has a wide range of definitions, but there are a few dudes that Kim Kardashian definitely wishes she wasn’t seen with. I’m sure there are plenty of girls who feel the same way when going through their list of exes, but these girls are not celebrities who are famous from sharing the ins and outs of their personal life. Whether they were married, a casual hookup, or an innocent date, these are 15 exes that Kim Kardashian wishes her fans would forget about.
15. Nick Lachey – The Come Up
This one might be way far back for you to remember, but believe it or not dating Nick Lachey was Kim Kardashian‘s first big tabloid story. Fresh off of his split from ex wife Jessica Simpson, everyone wanted to see who the former reality star was going to date next. He was one of the most eligible celebrity bachelors and it seemed like Kim was capitalizing on this moment for her own come up. Nick Lachey asserted that Kim used him for fame and explained it like this: “Let’s just say this: We went to a movie. No one followed us there. Somehow, mysteriously, when we left, there were 30 photographers waiting outside.” He is implying that Kim or someone from her camp called up the paparazzi in order to gain some media attention. I’m not saying that what went down was right, but look who’s winning now: Nick who?
14. Bow Wow – The Hook Up No One Saw Coming
Kim Kardashian got with Bow Wow? I cannot even fathom this one, but the artist now known as Shad Moss has actually got with some pretty hot celebs, so more power to him. During a radio interview, a DJ said to Bow Wow, “I heard him, Kris Humphries and Reggie Bush have something in common” and Bow Wow did not confirm or deny it. Instead he grinned and said, “I wanna know where you heard that one.” Well, that’s super weird. I know Kim Kardashian has affinity for rappers, but I just don’t get this pairing at all, but good for them…. I guess.
13. Miles Austin – The Short-Lived Romance
This was one of Kim Kardashian’s legitimate relationships that the public really knows nothing about. Sure Miles Austin appeared on the show, but their romance was surprisingly low key given that she is a reality TV star and he is a professional athlete. There didn’t seem to be any scandal to the split either. It seems like too much distance, busy schedules, and time apart were the culprit to the end of this short-lived relationship. I wonder if the split was mutual or if Miles Austin was just overwhelmed by Kim Kardashian’s daily interaction with the media, but I don’t think we will ever hear any additional information about this relationship.
12. John Mayer – The Rite Of Passage
I feel like I am the only woman on the planet who has not been romantically linked to John Mayer. Thankfully, Kim Kardashian was never in a full-on relationship with the legendary womanizer, but they were seen out and about together. Apparently Kim Kardashian and John Mayer “went out on a few dates together” and were spotted hanging out a couple of times so who knows what really happened between the two tabloid fixtures. I am just praying that it wasn’t much. There is just something so smarmy and untrustworthy about someone who brags about having sex with famous women. They have both been “linked” to so many people so it just seemed like it was a matter of time before they were mentioned in the same sentence, no matter how accurate the story is or isn’t. I have to assume that they just hung out in front of cameras for publicity.
11. Evan Ross – The Celebrity Offspring
I still don’t really know who Evan Ross is. Sure, he is the son of music legend Diana Ross and now I know him as the husband of Ashlee Simpson, but that’s pretty much it for me. Still, I’m not too shocked that these two were together. I imagine Kim Kardashian and Evan Ross floating around the same friend circles with other family members of famous and semi-famous people so it makes sense for them to get together at some point. These two dated for a few months way back in 2007, so it didn’t make the media splash that Kim’s other relationships have, but maybe if they got together at a point later in time, they could have been a famous duo.
10. Shengo Deane- The Bodyguard
Once again, it’s a little bit tough to draw the line between reality and reality television. If you are a fan of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, you have to remember Kim “hooking up” with her bodyguard Shengo Deane, a super hot Australian man. Who knows what “hook up” actually means, but they were shown kissing on camera and there was a definite chemistry between them. Nevertheless, no one really heard much about this pairing beyond the TV episodes airing, so it was definitely not an actual relationship, but who knows how “real” the interaction between the two of them truly was.
9. TJ Jackson – The High School Boyfriend
There are rumors going around the internet that Kim Kardashian lost her virginity to TJ Jackson. You might be saying “who?” when you read that, so to clarify TJ Jackson is Tito Jackson’s son. The two had a teenage relationship and even went to prom together so it is not totally out of left field to guess that she gave her v card to him. Kim never confirmed this, but she did tell Oprah that her mom put her on birth control pills when she was just fourteen years old, so there’s that. Seeing as this relationship is hardly referenced, it can be easily assumed that Kim wants it and those virginity rumors to remain in the past.
8. Cristiano Ronaldo – The Rumored Fling
This is another situation where no one really knows what really went down. Cristiano Ronaldo and Kim Kardashian are two people that have been caught up in a lot of dating rumors, so it’s not super out of nowhere for them to be linked together. It does not seem like there are any photos with the two of them in the same frame, but there were several photos of them in the same place, with the same background, on the same day. So that’s pretty suspicious, plus it’s not like Kim would just be casually chilling in Spain. These two were spotted hanging in Spain after Ronaldo’s soccer games during what looked like a date. Maybe it was just a couple dates or maybe they were just friends, but people could not help wonder about the pairing.
7. Gabriel Aubry – The Rebound
Gabriel Aubry is best known for being Halle Berry‘s ex husband. Other than that, he’s a smoking hot fashion model, but I don’t think he would have had as much celebrity status if it wasn’t for that relationship in all honesty. In between dating Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian was spotted with Gabriel Aubry. The two of them were seen laughing it up at a Los Angeles Lakers game and hitting up the movies to see Burlesque. This was seemed like a drive by rebound sort of deal, but it did happen and it was probably the only way that Halle Berry and Kim Kardashian would ever be mentioned in the same sentence.
6. The Game – The Rapper Who Took Her To McDonald’s
There were a bunch of rumors about The Game getting with Khloe Kardashian, but it turns out that Kim Kardashian is the one that the rapper actually dated. She’s never acknowledged it (of course), but he had when he was clearing up the Khloe romance rumors. During a radio interview, The Game said, “I went and dated Kim for a while. A little short while.” That’s pretty vague, but he elaborated the most amusing details possible when he added, “You know what it was. We went to McDonalds twice. Pulled up in a drive thru.” I would have loved it if I saw paparazzi photos of Kim Kardashian at a McDonalds, but anyway, The Game can be counted as one of Kim’s rapper ex boyfriends.
5. Damon Thomas – The Secret Husband
Kim Kardashian’s marriage to music producer Damon Thomas stayed under wraps for a surprisingly long time. They got married when she was only nineteen years old and the two decided to elope in Las Vegas. And obviously no one was super happy about that decision. A teenager secretly getting married in Vegas is not something that most friends and family blindly support, but yep, the quickie wedding did actually happen – even though we barely heard anything about it or that relationship. The two remained married from 2000 to 2004 which is a pretty long time considering the specifics of the situation and the people involved.
4. Nick Cannon – The Disappointed Boyfriend
Kim Kardashian and Nick Cannon had a pretty scandalous end to their romantic relationship. Nick Cannon ended up dumping her because she denied the existence of her infamous sex tape with Ray J. He explained the whole ordeal during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show: “This was my issue. We talked about this tape…And she told me there was no tape. If she might have been honest with me I might have tried to hold her down and be like “That was before me” because she is a great girl. She’s actually one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. But the fact that she lied and told me that there was no tape?'”
Welp, that is a very awkward discussion to have with your boyfriend and I can see why Nick Cannon would be upset about her lying to him.
3. Reggie Bush – The Long Term Boyfriend
Anyone who has been watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians from the beginning was rooting for Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush to make it as a couple for a long time. They really seemed to have a nice relationship that was not too much in the spotlight minus the multiple times that they broke up and got back together. They were dating at a tough time though when Kim Kardashian’s star was just starting to rise and her calendar was filling up so it was hard to keep the relationship together. Before Kim got with Kanye, the fans really wanted her back with Reggie, but obviously that’s never happening since they are both married to other people now.
2. Kris Humphries – The Second Husband
Where should I start? First off, I found it really weird that Kim Kardashian was romantically involved with someone who had the same first name and spelling as her mother. Beyond that, I had zero clue who Kris Humphries was before they got together. Their relationship was pretty tough to watch. Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans really were not feeling the love between these two and Kris seemed super arrogant in his scenes on the reality TV show. They infamously broke up soon after they got married, but the divorce took longer to finalize than the length of the marriage. Kim wants us all to forget about this relationship, but we never will.
1. Ray J – The Infamous Tape Partner
I always feel so bad that Kim Kardashian’s fame and success is always reduced to her sex tape with Ray J. She has become so much more than that, but it always comes back up (like right now as I hypocritically write this out). Kim Kardashian and Ray J made a sex tape during their long term relationship which catapulted her into a celebrity. Kim has done so many things since then, but I’m sure that she wants people to forget about this relationship and the racy video footage. Sadly, I don’t think that is ever going to happen. The tape’s existence will live on in infamy.
Thankfully, Kim Kardashian seems very happily in love when it comes to her relationship with Kanye West. I don’t blame her for wanting to put these past relationships behind her, but let’s face it: she’s Kim Kardashian and that is just impossible.
